The annual reports of the US Surgeon General offer the most comprehensive review on health consequences of smoking, as well as a number of related issues. The reports are not easily obtainable in Australia, but may be found in major medical libraries or at most state cancer councils and offices of the National Heart Foundation of Australia. The Reports of the Royal College of Physicians (listed below) are more readily available.
